PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- A Providence man has been found guilty of trafficking cocaine and marijuana.
Charles Fermin, 29, was arrested in January while wheeling a suitcase that contained a loaded .357 Magnum revolver, 33 pounds of marijuana, over an ounce of cocaine, as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia.
He told the arrested officers that he had found the suitcase and was unaware of its contents.
Fermin was convicted on charges of cocaine and marijuana trafficking, but was acquitted of the firearms charge.
