PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- The New England Patriots and Houston Texans may be taking the field in Foxboro to fight for a shot at the AFC Championship, but the game is also expected to bring a welcome boost to the Providence economy.
The visiting Texans and their staff will be staying at one of the hotels downtown, the identity of which has not been made public.
Many of the team's die hard fans are expected to travel here to see their team play, which will not only fill hotel rooms, but also seats in area restaurants.
Sunday's game begins at 4:30 p.m. on WPRI 12.
