Operation Deception suspect enters plea

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Another suspect arrested in Operation Deception entered his plea Monday.

Khalid Mason pleaded guilty in Superior Court.

He confessed to his part in the cocaine ring in which two Providence Police officers were convicted of participation and a third was convicted of being a customer.

The judge sentenced Mason to serve two years in prison.
