PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Occupy Providence members will be protesting at the State House to mark the first anniversary of the group's founding.
Protestors will hold a rally Sunday at noon in Burnside Park, then move to the State House and camp there through Monday night.
The group says it will "protest the damage done to Rhode Island's economy caused by state leaders," and singled out the failure of 38 Studios and the state's reaction to its collapse.
The nationwide Occupy movement sprung up last September in the wake of the Occupy Wall Street protests.
