Newborns head home on Christmas Day

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Several proud parents are heading home on this Christmas Day with new additions to their families.
Two recently-born babies are leaving Women and Infants Hospital in Providence in giant Christmas stockings today and their parents couldn't be happier.
"He's perfect," Gina Lemay said of her newborn son Max. "He's the perfect Christmas present."
Max was not expected to be a Christmas baby; he was born three weeks early, on Monday morning. Father Brian Lemay said their parents camped out in the hospital for 15 or 16 hours in advance of the 3:30 a.m. delivery.
"Everyone's commenting on his hair," Brian said, indicating little Max's full head of brown hair.
In another room, Heidi Hernandez cradled her newborn daughter Helen, who was born on the 23rd. She and Helen's big sister were thrilled to be heading home.
"We have our Christmas gift already," Hernandez said.
