PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- A murder trial is underway for a man previously convicted of killing his girlfriend.
The Providence Journal reports testimony began Thursday in the trial of Victor Arciliares . He is charged with a 2010 murder in Pawtucket.
Arciliares and another man, Rolando Rojas, are accused of shooting and killing Alfredo Barros while his car was stopped at a red light.
Arciliares is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of his girlfriend, Dayvellis Cotto , in 2009. Police said Arciliares was out on bail at the time Barros was killed.
