PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Motorcycle riders teamed up with the Marines to collect toys for needy children.

The annual ride is the largest single-day event to benefit the Toys for Tots program in Rhode Island, which collects and distributes new toys for needy children at Christmastime.

The riders kicked off the run at CCRI's Lincoln campus and ended in Providence, where Marines collected the donated toys.
