PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Providence Mayor Angel Taveras will be inducting two new members into the city's Martin Luther King Jr. Hall of Fame.
John "Johnny" Britto is a youth mentor and program coordinator at the Fox Point Boys and Girl Club. Wayne Montague Sr. is a Providence educator and community leader.
They are being honored for making "substantial contributions" to acceptance, social justice, civil rights and equality and carrying on the legacy of the slain civil rights leader.
The 10th annual Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday evening in the City Council chamber at City Hall.
The program will include a musical performance and spoken word performance.
