PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The sale of Landmark Medical Center is moving forward.

A Superior Court judge conditionally approved Prime Healthcare Services' purchase agreement Tuesday.

The for-profit hospital chain made an offer to buy the Woonsocket hospital last month, after Steward Health Care Systems backed out of its deal.

The judge gave Prime and Landmark two weeks to finalize the details and inform all affected parties.
