PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – Local performers were given the chance to shine Saturday on Empire Street in Providence during the city's annual Foo Fest.
The 12-hour event featured music on two different stages, interactive art installations and activities from community organizations.
About two dozen musical acts and performances entertained both young and old.
The festival showcased a wide range of visual arts and performers living and working on Rhode Island.
