PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Gas prices are on the rise in Rhode Island for the first time in three months.
The weekly survey released Monday by AAA Southern New England found regular unleaded averaging $3.53 a gallon in Rhode Island. That is up two cents over last week's survey.
According to AAA, that is the first week-to-week price increase since October 1, 2012.
Gas prices in Rhode Island are now 24 cents above the national average of $3.29 a gallon.
