PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- A fund has been set up to help the family of a father and son who were severely hurt in an accidental fire at their home on Virginia Avenue in Providence earlier this month.

5-year-old Christopher Etienne and his father, Christopher Husband, suffered burns in the house fire back on Feb. 3. Investigators believe the boy was playing with matches and the house fire was sparked by accident.

Christopher Husband works at printing company AlphaGraphics. They're accepting donations at their address at 20 Westminster Street, Providence, RI, 02903, in care of the Christopher Husband benefit fund, or through a PayPal online donation site.

You can also donate to the Christopher Husband Benefit Account at BankRI branches.

The Providence Journal reported this week the boy is doing much better in his recovery and is starting to get active. There was no word how his father is doing.
