Free services offered to quit smoking

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Several Providence agencies are teaming up to help smokers kick the habit.

The Urban League of Rhode Island , in conjunction with Tobacco Free Providence , the Rhode Island Health Department, and Tri-Town Community Action Agency , is hosting free tobacco cessation classes.

Classes begin January 17th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Providence Community Health Centers also offer free nicotine replacement therapy and counseling for residents who are uninsured or underinsured.  For more information call 401-780-2520.
