PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Police are searching for a band of thieves that robbed a female Brown University student Tuesday night.
According to campus police, the student was standing in front of 155 George Street around 10 p.m. Tuesday when she was grabbed from behind and had her tote bag stolen.
The victim witnessed three men and one woman jump into a red mini van.
Two of the suspects were described as dark-skinned men, between 20 and 25 years of age.
No description was given for the third man involved in the crime.
The woman was described as having dark skin and long, straight, dark-colored hair.
