City council calls for resignations
Prov. school board members asked to step down

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The Providence city council has sent a non-binding resolution to committee calling for the resignation of nearly every member of the school board.
The resolution was submitted by Councilman Nicholas Narducci.
The resolution calls for all but one signature.
Robert Wise was the only board member to vote against closing the five Providence elementary schools.
