PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The controversial plan to relocate Curt Schilling's video game company to Rhode Island is making its way into the Rhode Island governor's race.
38 Studios LLC, is set to move to Rhode Island in exchange for a $75 million loan guarantee from the state.
But State Treasurer and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Frank Caprio sounded off on Wednesday, saying as more details come out the plan appears to be worse and worse.
Caprio originally supported the deal.
But now he is asking two national bond agencies to withold work on the project until a new governor is in office.
