PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Police are investigating a burglary at the home of the accused ringleader in " Operation Deception" -- a drug probe that led to the arrests of six people, including three Providence police officers.

Rhode Island State Police were seen removing evidence the Providence home of 28-year-old Albert Hamlin on Tuesday afternoon, after reports of a break-in.

Hamlin is the younger brother of Robert Hamlin, one of the officers accused being part of a large-scale cocaine distribution operation.

Investigators say some items were taken from the home during Tuesday's break-in, but they do not believe the burglary is directly related to " Operation Deception."
