PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The Brown University Department of Public Safety is notifying the community of a robbery.
A student was walking down the walkway between Miller and Alumni Hall when he was approached by three males Sunday, just before 5 a.m.
One of the males was armed with a knife, the other had a crowbar.
The student told investigators that they assaulted him and stole his personal belongings. The suspects then took off toward Meeting Street.
A short time later, Brown University Police stopped a vehicle on Lloyd Avenue near Brook Street containing four males matching the description given by the victim.
The suspects were positively identified as being responsible for the assault and robbery and were arrested.
