PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Average gas prices have risen for the fourth week in a row, up four cents since last week.
According to AAA Southern New England, the average price of self-serve, regular unleaded in the Ocean State is $3.85 per gallon.
Local prices have risen 23 cents in the past month, and are currently ten cents above the national average of $3.75. Last year at this time Rhode Island's average was $3.73 per gallon.
The range in local prices is currently 26 cents, from a low of $3.69 to a high of $3.95.
