PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Rhode Island State Police have arrested a third person in connection with the thefts of more than one hundred bracelets made by local jewelry designer Alex and Ani.
34-year-old Paul Winfield of Providence was arrested Monday and charged with larceny.
Winfield worked for Cinerama in Cranston, a plating vendor for Alex and Ani, as did the other two suspects arrested last week: Manuel Pagan and Hector Bonilla, both of Woonsocket.
Investigators believe the bracelets were stolen during the manufacturing process.
Pagan and Bonilla were charged last Friday after police found some of the stolen bracelets for sale on Craigslist.
Alex and Ani estimates that more than $5,000 in bracelets were stolen.
