PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Rhode Island's underage drinking task force has made a significant bust.

30 people are now facing charges after being swept up in stings at two Providence clubs late Thursday night.

Most of those arrested are local college students.

Multiple state agencies raised the Fish Company on South Water Street, arresting 26 underage drinkers caught in the act.

Around the same time, four more people were arrested at the Roxy on Washington Street.

State Police seized numerous fake IDs during the sting.

The task force, which includes State Police, The Department of Business Regulation and the State Fire Marshal's Office uses a team approach to check safety issues within bars and clubs.

Since its launch, the group had previously arrested nearly 20 underage drinkers at establishments across Rhode Island.
