PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Powerball fever is sweeping across Rhode Island once again.
Wednesday night's Powerball jackpot has grown to $320 million. It's the fourth-largest Powerball jackpot prize in the history of the game.
If the winner chooses the cash option, the lump sum payout will be just over $213 million.
2012 has been a lucky year for Rhode Island Powerball players. In February, a Newport woman won a record $336 million jackpot. And in March, a Smithfield woman claimed a $60 million prize.
