UPDATE: One ticket in Michigan matched all 6 numbers in Wednesday's Powerball Drawing, worth an estimated $337 million.  The winning numbers were 6-27-46-51-56, Powerball 21

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Just months after a Newport woman won a $336 million, the Powerball jackpot is once again above $300 million, and that has Rhode Islanders lining up for tickets.

Wednesday night's Powerball jackpot has grown to $337 million. It's the fourth-largest Powerball jackpot prize in the history of the game.

Although the chances of winning the jackpot is one in 175 million, that didn't stop people from buying their tickets Wednesday.

"I guess it's that tiny chance in the back of your mind that someone's got to win and it could just be me," said one player.

Another said, "I keep trying. You can't win if you don't play."

If the winner chooses the cash option, the lump sum payout will be just over $213 million, before taxes.

2012 has been a lucky year for Rhode Island Powerball players. In February, a Newport woman won a record $336 million jackpot . And in March, a Smithfield woman claimed a $60 million prize.

Powerball tickets will be sold until 9:50 p.m. on drawing nights. You can see the winning numbers Wednesday night during Eyewitness News at 11 on WPRI 12 or online on WPRI.com .
