PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Three people have been charged in connection with a month long narcotics investigation in Providence.
Providence Police tell Eyewitness News, detectives seized over two pounds of marijuana, pills of ecstasy and an illegal firearm.
19-year old Chanthorn Khunpasee, 19-year old Steven Dy, and a 17-year old boy are charged with the following: possession of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, controlled substance conspiracy, and manufacture/possession/delivery of narcotics.
The arrests were made after search warrants were obtained for two residences, located on Middletown Street and Alvin Street.
We're also told, the suspects are believed to belong to a gang known as the Providence Street Boys.
