PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Police are investigating after a person was struck by a car near Providence College early Sunday.
Emergency crews were called to Huxley Avenue near the campus just before 2:00 a.m. The victim's condition is not known, and it is not clear if the person struck was a student at the college.
Police have not said whether any charges will be filed.
This is the second case of a person being hit by a car in the Capital City in less than 24 hours. On Saturday morning, a person suffered serious injuries after being struck on Waverly Street.
