Victim Rushed To RIH With Serious Head Injuries

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Police in the Capital City are searching for a hit and run driver.

Officers were called to Waverly Street around 3:00 a.m. Saturday after a person had been hit by a car. Police tell Eyewitness News the victim was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital with serious head injuries. The victim appears to have been struck so hard, he was thrown into a nearby parked car.
