Pedestrian struck in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- One person was struck by a car in the Capital City on Sunday morning.

Emergency crews reportedly found the victim lying in the middle of North Main Street around 2:00 a.m. That person was rushed to a nearby hospital in an unknown condition.

The incident remains under investigation.
