PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - A grand jury has decided not to return an indictment against a former RIPTA driver at the center of a rape investigation.
Ivan Calderon was accused of forcing a passenger into perfoming a sexual act, while his RIPTA bus was parked near a supermarket in East Providence last month.
Calderon was suspended with pay following his arrest. RIPTA says he no longer works for the agency.
