PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) –New England ski resorts are already reporting brisk “early bird” season pass sales.

Ski Vermont reports that advance ski pass sales are matching or surpassing last year’s sales.

Resorts are attributing last year’s snow drought to this year’s high demand.

Ski Resorts say last year’s winter was the toughest on ski areas since 1976.
