PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- A former mob enforcer from Rhode Island serving a life sentence has used his time behind bars to write his memoirs.

The Providence Journal reports Thursday that Gerard Ouimette has completed a book called "What Price Providence."

The cover of Ouimette's book features a photo of him with former New England mob boss Raymond Patriarca and John Gotti. The former head of New York's Gambino crime family.
