PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Meeting Street wants to open a charter school.

The Grace School already includes Kindergarten through 8th grade students with and without special needs in the classroom.

Officials want to expand that into the Grace School Academy.

They hope to eventually educate 300 students, primarily from Providence.

The new school would remain on its current campus on Eddy Street.
