Man stabbed outside Prov. nightclub

Victim is listed in good condition at RIH

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – A man is hospitalized after he was stabbed outside Saints and Sinners Lounge on Sunday morning.

The victim's family tells Eyewitness News, 31-year old David Santos was standing outside the club when a party bus full of people drove up and started fighting people outside the club.

They say Santos was stabbed three times in the back and once in each arm.

Providence police have confirmed a stabbing did take place outside the club, but released few other details.

They did tell Eyewitness News, the victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by a family member.

At last check, Santos was listed in good condition.

His family says he is expected to make a full recovery.

The stabbing is still under investigation.
