PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Officers are investigating an early morning shooting in Providence.

It happened at a home on Wendell Street around 12:30 Saturday morning.  Police say the victim, 21 year-old Sereyrath Phan, was shot in the right arm; investigators described the injury as minor.

Neighbors tell Eyewitness News that the victim and some friends were outside the house when a car pulled up and fired several shots at them, then sped off.

Police said they had not made any arrests as of Saturday morning and did not divulge whether they had any suspects.
