LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WPRI) - Rick Pitinoreturned to the witness stand Thursday in a Kentucky federal court.

The former Providence College basketball coach and married father of five has accused Karen Sypher of trying to extort millions of dollars from him in exchange for her silence, after the pair had sex.

Sypher says it was rape, but no charges were ever filed.

After some questions about the rape allegation today, Pitino interrupted Sypher's attorney, telling him he's "here to give the truth." The attorney replied: "I bet you are."

She's pleaded not guilty to the charges.
