PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Rhode Island's latest home sales report is out, and it's another mix of good news, bad news.

Single family home sales were up nearly 15% in the third quarter from the previous year.

Meanwhile, home prices slipped around 3%.

The average home sale price was just over $197,000.

That's down from about $203,000.

Multi-family home sales were also up by 6%, but again, the median price was down 4%.
