PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Holiday travel is in full swing, but those driving to and from family gatherings won't be spending more at the pump.

AAA Southern New England reports prices for self-serve, regular unleaded gas in Rhode Island are averaging $3.51 per gallon.  That's the same as last week.

Despite the price standstill, it's still 26-cents above the national average of $3.25.

A year ago this same time, Rhode Islanders paid $3.32 per gallon.
