PROVIDENCE, RI (WPRI) - Gasoline prices are down for the second consecutive week in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
According to AAA of Southern New England, self-service, regular unleaded gasoline averaged $3.92 per gallon in Rhode Island.
That's four cents less than last week and a five cent decline in two weeks.
This time last year Rhode Island faced an average gas price of $4.02 per gallon.
Meanwhile, in Massachusetts, self-service, regular unleaded gasoline averaged $3.82 per gallon.
That's a three cent drop from last week.
Both state's prices are currently above the national average which stands at $3.81 per gallon.
