PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Members of a local family are being treated for injuries suffered during a fire in their Providence home Sunday night.
Flames broke out just after 10 p.m. on the second floor of a duplex, located at 175 Virginia Ave.
According to fire officials, a total of four people were hospitalized for smoke inhalation and burns. A mother and daughter were transported for observation, while a father and son are being treated for more serious injuries.
The fire appears to have caused little damage to the exterior of the home.
