PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Former Brown University President Donald Hornig died Monday. He was 92.
Hornig served as the Ivy League university's president from 1970 to 1976.
Before his time as president, he also worked as a professor at the university.
Hornig's career included work at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, and at Los Alamos, where he was part of the atomic bomb project.
He is also served as scientific advisor to four U.S. presidents.
