PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Actress Emma Watson has apparently decided to postpone her return to Brown University.
The Daily Mail reports she is putting off her studies at the Ivy League school until next year to pursue a variety of film projects. A spokesperson for the actress told the paper she plans to return to Rhode Island in January.
Watson, who enrolled at Brown in 2009, deferred her course-load in March of last year to promote the latest Harry Potter film. Watson is best known for playing Hermione Granger in the eight-movie series. She has spent the last year studying at Oxford University in the U.K.
She is currently working on a film adaptation of the biblical story of Noah -- starring Russell Crowe.
