Man used account information to withdraw money

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Local police are on the lookout for a man suspected of obtaining money by using an East Providence resident's banking information.

The suspect is accused of obtaining the victim's Navigant Credit Union account information and placing it on a counterfeit credit card. He then used the card to withdraw an undetermined amount of cash from the ATM at the Bank RI branch inside the Turks Head Building.

The suspect is described as having a light complexion, medium height and medium build.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to contact the East Providence Police Department at (401) 435-7627.
