Funeral set for fmr. RI Chief Justice
Joseph Weisberger died December 7th at age 92

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - A local retired judge will be laid to rest Wednesday.
A funeral mass for former Rhode Island Supreme Court Chief Justice Joseph Weisberger will be held at 10 am at St. Brendan Church in East Providence.
Weisberger died December 7th at the age of 92.
He helped lead the courts mediation program.
Weisberger stepped down from the state's high court in 2000.
