Cops: Woman stabs boyfriend in dispute

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Providence police say a woman attacked her boyfriend with a knife Saturday night.

Officers were called to the scene on Ashmont Street around 9:30 p.m. Officials tell Eyewitness News the man was stabbed by his girlfriend during some kind of domestic dispute. She allegedly cut a second person in the hand who was trying to break up the fight.

The unidentified woman later turned herself into police. She is facing felony assault charges.

The victims' conditions are unknown.
