PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – Hundreds of people came out to the Annual Columbus Day Festival on Saturday in Providence.
The festival began with a grand opening ceremony at DePasquale Square.
People of all ages came out to sample food and enjoy live entertainment.
The annual parade will be held on Sunday Oct 7th at 12:00PM on Atwells Ave with the 88th Army Band and the Wells Fargo Coach. It will begin at the intersection of Harris Ave and end at the intersection of Bradford St.
Atwells Ave. will be shut down to traffic on Sunday from 8am to 2pm.
The festival continues until 8:00pm Monday night.
