PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The city of Providence is apparently more manly than it was last year, according to a new study.

Combos released its annual list of America's Manliest Cities and Providence came in 24th, up three spots from last year.

So what makes a city more manly than another?

Experts say the study takes into account criteria like the number of home improvement stores, steak houses, and motorcycles per capita.

The most manly city in the country, according to the report is Oklahoma City.
