C-SPAN comes to Providence

Cable network plans to film historic sites

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – C-SPAN is spending the next week here in Providence.

Mayor Angel Taveras kicked off the cable network’s visit to the capital city on Monday.

C-SPAN will spend the next several days filming literary and historic sites in Providence.

The stories will then be featured on the cable network.
