PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) Rhode Island's largest New Year's Eve celebration is about to mark its 10th anniversary.

Bright Night Providence is an artist-run and oriented celebration that was established in 2003.

The New Year's Eve celebration carries on the tradition of "First Night", which was canceled after 18 years of operation.

This year's festival will feature more than 100 local performers at events spanning across the city.

Venues include the Providence Children's Museum,  the Rhode Island Convention Center and the Providence Public Library.

Bright Night Providence kicks off the fun at noon on Monday, and ends with the traditional countdown to the New Year in Kennedy Plaza.

You can find a full list of events and locations for next week's celebration visit Bright Night's website.
