PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Providence Police are seeking the public's help identifying the suspect in a bank fraud investigation.

Police tell Eyewitness News, the crimes were committed at the Bank of America on Atwells Avenue in Providence on two occasions, and another time at the Bank of America on West Shore Road in Warwick.

In each instance, the suspect deposited fraudulent checks for large sums of money into the victim's account.

Police say the suspect then withdrew the funds from the account of the victim and opened up another account in the name of "Exequiel Zaiden."

The suspect may have also opened that account with false information.

Anyone with information should contact Providence Police at 401-243-6339.  Detective Michael Otrando is handling the case no. 130029.
