PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – A Pawtucket man arrested on federal drug and firearm charges pleads guilty in federal court Wednesday.

James Perry, 35, was arrested by Pawtucket Police on March 15, 2012, during an undercover investigation into crack cocaine trafficking.

Perry plead guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine base and felon in possession of a firearm.

During their seizure, Pawtucket Police discovered and seized 6 grams of crack cocaine, a .357 revolver, a speed loader, and 50 rounds of ammunition.

Perry has been held without bail since his arrest.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on October 23.

He faces up to 30 years in federal prison.
