PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - A person of interest in last month’s suspicious death in Cranston faces more charges in Providence.

After being charged with felony assault , accused of pointing a gun at a woman on Farmington Avenue, 31-year-old James Adams is now charged with raping and robbing a different woman.

Mary Grier’s body was found at the same address as the first incident Adams was charged with, leading to his role as a person of interest.

According to police, some of those incidents took place within five days of each other.
